A-CAD COMMAND "FILLET"

FILLET:


Fillet command is used to create blunt-rounded corners of the meeting or nearly meeting (not parallel) between the two line-shaped object from the command line or polyline, spline, rays, and also xline two arc-shaped object, the circle of ellipse. The size of dots that occurs depends on the length of the selected radius






Command: fillet
Current settings: Mode = TRIM, Radius = 0.0000
Select first object or [Undo / polyline / Radius / Trim / Multiple]: r
Specify fillet radius (0.0000): 10
Select first object or [Undo / polyline / Radius / Trim / Multiple]:


MEANING = Select first object or [Undo / polyline / Radius / Trim / Multiple :


Undo - To undo the last operation on the fillet command.

Polyline - This option is for 2D polyline to fillet. AutoCAD will create a fillet arc on faithfully vertex (corner) polyline.

Radius - This option is to specify the fillet radius. Prompt will appear after you select the radius is:

Specify fillet radius (current): (specify the value of the radius) 

If you give too much value on the two objects, the fillets will fail to be implemented and AutoCAD gives an error message, the Radius is to large.

Trim - This option is to determine whether the fillet to cut / extend objects in fillets or not. Prompt that will appear are:

Enter Trim mode option [Trim / No Trim] (current): (type T for Trim or N for No-Trim)

If you choose Trim, segments in the fillet will be extended / cut to the right ends meet with a fillet arc.

If you choose No-trim, AutoCAD will create a fillet arc without changing the designated object.

Multiple - This option is to do the fillets over and over in a single command. AutoCAD will continue to ask for two objects to be filleted, and then you hit enter to end the command
